I’m passionate about all things digital. I’ve been involved since the nineties – well before the web was widely adopted and when CD-ROM was king. Things have changed a lot since then, but the fundamentals for success have always been the same: creativity, solid technology and a great user experience.
I thrive on the challenges of technical planning and project leadership in this ever evolving landscape. I understand the need for an agile, iterative, user focussed approach to digital, but strongly believe that it doesn’t need to be complicated. Simplicity is often best. Above all I enjoy creative lateral thinking and achieving results.
I’ve over 20 years experience, managing client relations and delivering dozens of websites, intranets, blogs, applications, digital products, marketing and creative for SMEs, corporates, government and non-profit organisations. These include clients such as Google, YouTube, Skype, Comic Relief, Unilever, Specialized, North Somerset Council, SITA, Akzo Noble (Levis), Guinness World Records, DTI, Lloyds TSB, 3, Orange, Legal & General and many more.
I’m also a big advocate for sustainable business and better living. I believe digital can play a huge part in changing the way people think, interact, work and live. I’ve enjoyed working with local and national organisations to that end, including Bristol Green Capital, Goodliving, WREN, Forest of Avon Trust and Think Future Now to name a few.
On a personal level, I’m fascinated by science, technology and economics. I enjoy art, music and film, consider myself a great amateur chef and enjoy DJ mixing and hiking. Since becoming a homeowner I’m also a DIY enthusiast by default. Follow me on Twitter to find out more.
